You are either XX or XY

Three weeks ago, at a Meet the Author event at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, I met someone who stopped by my table and asked about my books. We talked about the Christian and Catholic Faith, and where we thought Faith was going in America. As my friend Lary Tabor says, we solved the world's problem in five minutes.
As this visitor and I talked, the issue of transgender came up. What she said was right on the money. The visitor's name was Jophiel, and i summirize our conversation this way:
There is unequivocally no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY. God created humanity as male and female, and this is dictated by genetics. This is physiology, this is science, and this is the undeniable reality. The idea that one can be something other than their biological sex is merely a cultural construct designed as an affront to God. While those who identify as transgender may perceive it differently, the truth remains clear.
The greatest revolution in American history is not the American Revolution, nor the Industrial Revolution; it is the sexual revolution, which has proven to be the most far-reaching and damaging upheaval this country has ever experienced. Embracing this ideology is tantamount to a form of personal suicide; it marks the end of your existence as God intended. Individuals immersed in the transgender world are 19 times more likely to take their own lives, illustrating the devastating consequences of severing ties with reality and meaningful relationships. This leads to the obliteration of true identity and fundamentally disrupts one’s capacity to form real marriages and families. It results in an inability to connect with others, to engage with society and culture, and to envision a future in which one belongs. This level of disconnection is the epitome of extreme isolation; there is no greater denial than claiming to be someone you fundamentally are not. You are not merely exploring an identity; you are creating a fantasy that distances you from your true self and your existence.
This situation is bound to escalate because we inhabit a world that encourages individuals to craft their own identities. This is the reality the Internet presents, empowering people to shape themselves however they choose. You can explore endless possibilities, constructing your own universe and reality to live in. However, the isolation stemming from this phenomenon is profoundly sad and tragic.
The only honest way to address this is to acknowledge that God created you exactly as He intended. By struggling against your true self, you are not only opposing God in His physical creation but, more importantly, challenging His sovereignty. This is a profound conflict with God and with your spiritual relationship with Him. Ultimately, this is a war on God Himself. It is essential to allow God to define who you are.
