An Angelic Visitation

I wanted to share something deeply meaningful that happened to me a few weeks ago, which has inspired me to embark on a new book project. As someone who appreciates my writing, I wanted you to be the first to know.

As you know, I am an independent self-publisher passionate about sharing Catholic and Christian teachings through my books. To date, I've written four, each one a result of thorough research using a variety of sources, including Jewish, Biblical, archeology, and ancient texts. When my books are ready, I host Meet the Author events where I sell them. My motivation is not fame or fortune; rather, I have a sincere desire to share God's message with others.

One of the places I sell my books is in front of the Base Exchange (a department store) on Keesler AFB in Biloxi. The military has shown great kindness in allowing me this opportunity. Oftentimes, I even give my books away, and many people return to discuss our shared Catholic and Christian beliefs.

A few weeks ago, as I was standing by my table, I was approached by a vibrant young woman in her mid-thirties, whose presence truly captivated me. Over two days, we engaged in heartfelt conversation on theology. Her fiery orange-red curls and olive-colored skin were striking, but it was her eyes that truly drew me in—piercing bright blue, almost aqua, with an intensity I rarely see. They seemed to hold both comfort and otherworldly wisdom.

She introduced herself as Jophiel, a name as unique as her visit. Instead of discussing my books, she shared insights that profoundly moved me and prompted this new book project. Jophiel even suggested a publication date of December 19, 2026, which holds special significance for me, as it would have been my mother’s 107th birthday in heaven.

Deep in my soul, I knew I was visited by an angelic presence, a moment that has transformed my life, character, and worldview. I'm now diligently working on putting my thoughts and her words down on paper, and I want to keep you updated on this journey.

Then, as I began to ponder ideas for the book cover, I received an unexpected email from someone I didn't recognize. When I opened the attachment, I discovered a photo that resonated deeply with me, and it's the same one I'm sharing with you now. It felt like a special moment in the creative process, and what Jophiel looked like. In my exploration of the name Jophiel, I have learned that she is recognized as the Archangel Jophiel.

May God bless you and keep you always.

Al

In Chapter 5 of The Visitor, a true story of an angelic visit, I devoted considerable time to depicting Archangel Jophiel. What captivated me was her vibrant hair, a stunning blend of red and orange,

Has Christianity done more harm than good?

Historically, Christians have done many good things, such as feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and comforting the distressed. But not all Christians have followed Jesus’ command to love their neig
