Keep Hope and Act

My wife and I went to the Holy Land a few years ago. It was a great experience, and I think every Christian should visit. The most memorable part for me was visiting the area around the Lake of Galilee, where Jesus preached from Peter’s boat. Jesus then asked Peter to go fishing, even though Peter was tired and had not caught anything all night. Even though Peter was discouraged, Jesus insisted, and eventually, Peter agreed, saying, "At your word, I will let down the net" (Luke 5:4b-11 NASB).

The story tells of a crucial moment in Peter's life when he decided to start afresh, guided by Christ. This led to an incredibly successful fishing trip that almost capsized his boat. The tale emphasizes embracing change and acting in our spiritual journey. It reminds us not to miss out on opportunities and to hold onto hope, as there may be great things ahead.
